    Description: Lesaonar is of average height and wiry, compact build. He usually has a scowl on his face and is gruff with just about everyone that isn't obviously more powerful than him (although he can behave himself if he has to). His mithral breastplate has been blackened with paint and his reversible cloak is midnight black on the outside and royal purple on the inside.

    History and Personality: Lesaonar has been a mercenary and bodyguard for all of his adult life. Years of taking orders from people he considers weak and inept have left him with a blunt personality unlike most drow. He is not truly evil, just out for himself, and is not above abandoning his fellows or his employer should he feel that that is the only way to survive a bad situation.
    His typical tactic is to enhance himself shortly before a battle with his wand of Kaupaer's skittish nerves (giving him an additional +5 to initiative checks). He uses allies to flank opponents, or (if that is not possible) tries to make feints using the Bluff skill so he can perform sneak attacks. Sometimes he drinks a potion of blindsight, then envelops the combat area with darkness so that he's the only one able to "see" effectively (and he can also make sneak attacks against all opponents that cannot see, since he is effectively invisible in these circumstances). If seriously injured during a fight he steps back to drink his curing potion, but normally he prefers to wait until after a fight and use his wand of cure light wounds at his leisure (using the Use Magic Device skill to operate it).
    Note that while Lesaonar has been called upon from time to time to assassinate minor rivals of his employers, he is not able to take the assassin prestige class because he is not truly evil.
