Slow Fall: A monk within arm's reach of a wall can use it to slow her descent while falling. The monk takes damage as if the fall were 30 ft. shorter than it actually is.
Still Mind: The monk gains a +2 bonus to saving throws against spells and effects from the Enchantment school.

Description: Hattchen is keenly observant and has a very reserved manner. He is quick to smile in response to others' words or actions, as this draws attention to his facial tattoos, but rarely laughs.
History and Personality: Hattchen was trained by a monk of Ilmater who raised him when the Ilmataran's adventuring group attacked his family's town in the Underdark. Hattchen grew to a young adult and killed his elderly mentor while the woman was sleeping. He then escaped back to the Underdark but could not shake some of the fundamentals of his training in rigid order. Feeling like an outcast from his own society, he joined Seldszar's mercenaries, feeling he could act in whatever way was most comfortable for him and not be harrassed for it. Of the mercenaries, he is closest to Tarlyn, the fallen paladin.
