11/4/07 Beholder Monster Class -- (work in progress) an attempt to create a beholder-like creature that scales like a PC class from level 1 to 20. This is how I wish/hope Wizards would design monsters for 4E "behind the scenes" so they'd have PC-playable stats for all monsters without having to resort to kludges like Level Adjustment ... if you build a monster like a PC class, you don't have to deal with stuff like that.

10/28/05 Pusmother -- a gigantic flying aberration that converts the creatures it eats into zombie-like slaves. Part of the Monster of the Month feature on the Sean K Reynolds Games site with artist Scott Purdy.

10/28/05 Sample Zombies -- most of the sample zombies from the MM/d20 SRD, presented in a single-column format for easy cutting & pasting (whether you're using grabbing the text or want the actual HTML).

7/7/05 Kerexoloth -- a daemon that hungers for information. Part of the Monster of the Month feature on the Sean K Reynolds Games site with artist Scott Purdy.

6/16/05 Hungry Little Monsters -- my new charity book from Sean K Reynolds Games has 43 monsters, 2 of which are by me.

5/31/05 Uargleth -- a mutated landwalking aboleth exile. Part of the Monster of the Month feature on the Sean K Reynolds Games site with artist Scott Purdy.

4/3/05 Meglar -- a big brute with bad breath. Part of the Monster of the Month feature on the Sean K Reynolds Games site with artist Scott Purdy.

10/28/04 Hoobo -- a monster/sidekick preview for The New Argonauts.

10/12/04 Greek Centaur -- a monster preview for The New Argonauts.

9/28/04 Template Troves Vol I web enhancement -- more templates, more sample creatures, and deities writeups of gods mentioned in the book and the web enhancement. To unlock the web enhancement PDF you need a password found on the title page of the Template Troves book. Link to Silverthorne site. 9/14/04 Gen Con preview PDF of Hungry Little Monsters , four monsters in a PDF that premiered at Gen Con Indy 2004 (1.4 MB PDF). Note: I had the original version of this PDF up on my site for downloading but it was so popular that it shot my bandwidth through the roof (1.6 GB in two days!) so I replaced that PDF with a lower-resolution one I slapped together in Microsoft Word. Don't let the simpler quality of this new PDF fool you ... the final book is a fully-typeset quality product. If you have the high-resolution PDF, feel free to pass it around, I want people to see it but it's counterproductive for me to pay huge bandwidth fees for a book that's going to charity.

9/14/04 Harrid monster class, a Savage Species-style breakdown of the monster (from Monte Cook's Diamond Throne setting) into a seven-level "racial class" that lets you use a younger, less powerful version of the creature in a game.

9/14/04 Lupin Skinthief, a monster that disguises itself as an animal. Part of a new Monster of the Month feature on the Sean K Reynolds Games site with artist Scott Purdy.

8/23/04 Magic Books of Faerun #7, featuring the Obsul Sssussun (Door to Light) ... contains a very simple template for creating a planar servant of a drow god of shadows. Link to WotC site.

8/9/04 Harrowing elder and keening maw, a two-monster preview from Hungry Little Monsters.

5/26/04 3.5 version of the Half-medusa, monster template.

5/26/04 3.5 version of the Fleshbound vampire, a variant vampire template that's more physical and less supernatural.

3/28/04 Monster Mayhem: Steel Dragon, Skip Williams' 3.5 conversion of my 3.0 Living Greyhawk Journal article on the steel dragon (a.k.a. "Greyhawk dragon," the original name). On the WotC site.

3/14/04 Savage Progressions #8, eighth in the article series. Like the previous article, this one takes a diffenent tack, giving "transition classes" so you can turn an aasimar into a half-celestial, a tiefling into a half-fiend, and so on, but faster than a human would be able to do. On the WotC site.

2/14/04 Savage Progressions #7, seventh in the article series. This one is a little different, taking level-adjusted races (aasimar, drow, duergar, feytouched, half-fey, svirfneblin, and tiefling) and presenting them as a LA +0 base race with racial levels of special abilities added to that to create a "standard" member of that race at the race's normal LA. On the WotC site.

1/17/04 Savage Progressions #6, sixth in the series of articles breaking Monster Manual templates into classes (class levels=template LA). This one gives the ghost and werewolf template classes. On the WotC site.

12/15/03 Savage Progressions #5, fifth in the series of articles breaking Monster Manual templates into classes (class levels=template LA). This one gives the lich and weretiger template classes. On the WotC site.

11/15/03 Savage Progressions #4, fourth in the series of articles breaking Monster Manual templates into classes (class levels=template LA). This one gives the fiendish and werebear template classes. On the WotC site.

10/12/03 Savage Progressions #3, third in the series of articles breaking Monster Manual templates into classes (class levels=template LA). This one gives the half-fiend and wereboar (including dire wereboar) template classes. On the WotC site.

9/13/03 Savage Progressions #2, second in the series of articles breaking Monster Manual templates into classes (class levels=template LA). This one gives the half-dragon and wererat template classes. On the WotC site.

8/25/03 Savage Progressions #1, first in a series breaking Monster Manual templates into classes (class levels=template LA). This one gives the vampire template class and rules in general for template classes. On the WotC site.

8/12/03 Eladree, a sun elf/eladrin crossbreed template (opposite of the fey'ri, in a way). The result of one of the "I design what you want" auctions I did to raise money to pay for my cat's surgery.

8/8/03 Saurials, a dinosaurlike race from the Forgotten Realms. Originally a Dragon article, then converted to the WotC website as a tie-in to Races of Faerun.

7/31/03 Monstrous Ladybug, a pretty bug that likes to eat other bugs. It can also be taken as an improved familiar.

6/7/03 Ghostwalk web enhancement, which has a couple of monsters

4/13/03 Skreyn Therianth, a lycanthrope-like template using a different mechanic than the "take the best of the two forms" system the current template uses.

4/13/03 Monster Class Tables for the (D&D 3.0) Monsters, a la Savage Species ... for those who don't like the errors in SS (from post-Sean changes) or want to use this data with the current Monster Manual. If you're looking for the doppleganger, check the next item on this page. :)

12/20/03 Monster Class Tables for the (D&D 3.0) Doppelganger, a la Savage Species ... in the same vein as the ones presented above, except the doppelganger class doesn't appear in Savage Species, so I thought I'd post it separately from the rest.

12/3/02 Dai're-coon, an ice demon based on a mini I have.

9/3/02 Henborn basilisk, a template for a more traditional basilisk creature.

8/17/02 Thermic elementals, a hot template for elementals of the earth subtype.

6/19/02 Diminutive monstrous hunting spider, filling a gap between the Tiny one in the Monster Manual and the Fine one in Monsters of Faerun.

6/5/02 Elemarns, four genasi-like planetouched PC races.

6/1/02 Half-Yochlol, a quarter-demonic drow template based on the yochlol.

6/1/02 Half-Draegloth, a quarter-demonic drow template based on the draegloth.

5/22/02 Dlurgraven, a fiendish bird often used as a steed.

4/22/02 Fleshbound vampire, a variant vampire template that's more physical and less supernatural.

3/8/02 Greenpod maneater, a plant monster.
